Global World Citizens was born from the visionary mind of Mr. Gerald B.P. York, who himself grew up in a low-income and disadvantaged community. Determined not to be defined by his circumstances, he found solace and inspiration in books and reading, which became his salvation in the ghetto(urban slum). Mr. Gerald’s personal journey instilled in him a deep belief in the transformative power of music, dance, sports, and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) for driving true change, particularly in impoverished and marginalized communities worldwide. With unwavering passion, he established Global World Citizens to harness these elements as catalysts for empowerment and upliftment. Guided by his vision, we strive to create a better future, breaking barriers and empowering individuals from all walks of life to become global citizens and agents of positive change.
